While My Guitars Gently Be
This abstract painting depicts the five guitars I own and play: a Fender Telecaster, a Goya 12-string acoustic, an Epiphone 6-string acoustic, an Ibanez bass, and an Ibanez SG. I was inspired by a technique of crossing lines and forms with dramatic shifts in color.
Each guitar holds significance to me, rendered in the colors in which they were offered from the factory originally. The ones I play most often are given the greatest prominence.
