Craig Galati is an architect, author, and artist whose visual work grows from decades of shaping environments and experiences as a design leader in Las Vegas. His work emphasizes bold experimentation, spontaneity, and reflects the spirit of curiosity and problem solving that he brought to his practice in architecture.
Craig’s journey into painting, following his recovery from cancer, is a testament to resilience, exploration, and the ever-present pull of creativity. Lessons from renowned artist Harold Bradford have shaped his work and taught him not just technique but how to see and approach the work.
Craig believes that art is another way of asking questions and telling stories. Years of designing in the built environment have taught him to see patterns, relationships, and possibilities; and painting affords him the opportunity to translate that into color and texture. His goal is to create work that feels alive and invites people to pause, look closer, and experience a sense of curiosity and optimism.
Craig works primarily in oil and watercolor and is available for commissions.
Craig’s books are primarily about business and leadership. Experience gained from four decades leading the Las Vegas architecture firm, LGA Architecture have taught him much and his books capture his purpose-centered business philosophy. Craig is also available for speaking engagements and consulting on leadership, professional services marketing, and strategic visioning.
