Fall in Spokane
I’ve always loved visiting places with four seasons. While in Spokane, I came across a stand of trees with the best yellow and orange fall colors I’d ever seen. This painting is my recreation of that blustery autumn day in 2025.
I chose watercolor for its loose, fluid quality — it felt right for capturing the trees swaying and dropping their leaves, preparing for winter.
